BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Not a great dancer? No worries, your robot companion will learn the moves for you. You'll use a Spike Prime and it’s drag and drop programming code to design and command a Lego Robot. While our primary goal is to have fun, during the week you will come to understand computational thinking and develop strategies for problem solving. Hands-on access to a robot will allow you to experience real challenges and learn there is often more than one solution to a problem. You will get a quick lesson on part names and uses, an overview of the code, build a basic robot and re-design it to perform your dance moves. You might think dancing is simple, but your robot will gather data from sensors, respond to input, and complete challenges that test you and your partner’s skills. We hope you develop a lifelong love of robots!
